- Can the dental office staff offer assistance in handling insurance forms and claims?
- Do you agree with the dentist’s overall treatment philosophy, whether it is conservative or more aggressive?
- What professional organizations does the dentist belong to? Does the dentist seek out continuing education from those organizations?
- Are the dental assistants and dental hygienists on staff well-trained with professional certifications?
- Does the practice use technology, such as the dental laser?
- How does the office environment look and feel to you? Is it clean? Does the staff seem committed to customer service?
- Does the dentist offer specialized services, should you need them in the future, such as periodontal therapy, neuromuscular dentistry or cosmetic dentistry?
- What are the policies for contacting the dentist in the event of an emergency?
