Pregnancy and Your Oral Health
To get relief from pregnancy gingivitis, you need to be diligent about your oral hygiene. This means brushing thoroughly twice a day, as well as flossing daily. If you need help controlling infected gums, you may rinse with an antimicrobial mouth wash.
Also, make sure to continue your regularly scheduled dental visits every six months for professional cleaning. Unless you have an extreme case of pregnancy gingivitis and need emergency treatment, that’s all you have to do to ensure good oral health during pregnancy.
