Are Implants Sensitive to Hot and Cold?
Since dental implants don’t have roots which can be exposed to the surface near the gum line, they typically don’t make people sensitive to hot and cold. However, since restorative procedures such as dental implants deal with your gums and nerve tissues, you might experience some temporary sensitivity to hot and cold. If this happens, it normally goes away in a week or two.
